An Open Trade is any derivative, physical, or forecast which has unsettled positions in the future. OpenCTRM basic plans include 50 open trade limits and a $2,500,000 Notional Limit.
For physical trades and forecasts, each open trade will be counted as one regardless of the trade’s notional equivalent.
For Example: A Crude Oil Derivative that has a quantity of 1,000 barrels @ $70/bbl = $70,000 notional value will count as 1 trade and $70,000 of notional value.
Note: When a trade is no longer open, it’s allotment will be added back to the available trade limit balance.
If you exceed the trade limit over two consecutive periods or by more than 10%, you will be contacted by someone from our customer success team to discuss usage options.
Excel is a powerful tool, but as spreadsheets grow more complex, they can become difficult to manage, maintain, and scale over time. At OpenCTRM, we’re not looking to replace Excel — we’re focused on making it better by helping businesses bring more structure, connectivity, and long-term manageability to the spreadsheets and workflows they already rely on.
Most E/CTRM vendors don’t offer transparent pricing, making it difficult for businesses to understand costs upfront. In many cases, pricing isn’t determined until after a lengthy sales process, with costs varying based on negotiations, customizations, and implementation requirements.
We don’t charge implementation fees for our Basic or Pro plans, making it easier for businesses to get started quickly and affordably. To support long-term success, we provide a growing library of online resources, guides, and educational content designed to help teams learn the platform with confidence. Our onboarding and support team is also readily available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help customers get the most out of OpenCTRM.
Absolutely! OpenCTRM was built for integrations which is why it’s called “Open” CTRM. We have spent lots of time developing various secure API integration points and we encourage customers, data providers, and other third parties to build integration as they see fit.
We integrate with various brokers and FCMs so that your data flows directly into OpenCTRM. Each broker has their own integration methodology so let us know who your brokers are and we can get them integrated.
